International B2B Delivery

At a Glance: The Short Version
A quick summary of the key things to know before requesting international delivery.
- International delivery is available for selected USB sticks, power banks, charging products, packaging and branded technology.
- Availability depends on the destination, product type, order size and current courier or customs restrictions.
- Production time and courier transit time are separate, so both must be considered when planning a deadline.
- Your quotation should confirm whether delivery, duties, taxes, remote-area charges and customs fees are included or payable separately.
- Products containing lithium batteries require additional checks and are not available for every destination or service.
- Tracking information is normally supplied where the selected courier service provides it. [CONFIRM TRACKING PROCESS]
- Provide the full delivery country, postcode, required date, product and quantity so we can prepare an accurate quotation.
International delivery is subject to product availability, courier acceptance, customs clearance and destination-country requirements.
Check Delivery to Your CountryBranded Products Delivered Beyond the UK
Many of our customers are international: agencies running multi-country campaigns, universities recruiting overseas, event teams shipping to venues abroad and distributors supplying their own markets. Each order is assessed individually, because the right answer depends on the product, destination, quantity and deadline — a pallet of USB drives to Germany and fifty power banks to Singapore are entirely different shipments.
Production always comes before transit: goods are manufactured, branded, data-loaded and quality-checked before a courier collects them. Our quotation sets out both stages and states the delivery terms plainly — what is included, what the destination country may charge on arrival, and when the order can realistically be delivered.
Where Do You Need Your Order Delivered?
Tell us the destination and we will confirm current delivery availability. We quote for the European Union, the rest of Europe, the United States, Canada, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, Africa and Latin America — and terms differ between countries within every region, so we work from your exact country and postcode. For unusual or remote destinations, contact us first.
How International Delivery Works
- Send your requirements. Product, quantity, destination country and postcode, required date, branding, packaging and the number of delivery addresses.
- We confirm product and delivery availability. Some products — especially power banks and other battery items — need additional checks before we can confirm the destination and service.
- Receive a clear quotation. It sets out the product, branding, packaging, production time, delivery charge and terms, available duties and taxes information, and estimated timing. [CONFIRM WHETHER DELIVERY IS INCLUDED IN QUOTES]
- Approve artwork and order details. A free visual proof shows your branding before production; approving the proof and specification releases the order to production.
- Production, despatch and tracking. We manufacture, brand, pack and despatch, passing on tracking where the service provides it. Customs clearance in the destination country then follows its own process.
Production Time and Courier Transit Time
Production Time
Covers confirming specifications, receiving any required payment, approving artwork, manufacturing or branding, data preloading, packing and quality checks. It starts once those order milestones are complete, not at first enquiry. [CONFIRM WHEN PRODUCTION LEAD TIME STARTS] [CONFIRM STANDARD INTERNATIONAL PRODUCTION TIMES]
Courier Transit Time
Starts after despatch. [CONFIRM TYPICAL COURIER TRANSIT TIMES] Customs clearance is additional to both, and public holidays and local schedules affect timing. Express production does not automatically mean express international delivery — the two are quoted separately — and transit estimates are estimates, not guaranteed event dates.
For a time-sensitive event, tell us the event date and we will plan both stages backwards from it with contingency.
International Destinations
USB Makers can arrange delivery to many countries and territories, subject to current courier coverage, customs rules, sanctions, product restrictions and service availability. [CONFIRM COUNTRIES AND TERRITORIES SERVED] Availability is checked at quotation against current requirements rather than a fixed list, because coverage and restrictions change. For restricted or remote destinations we will tell you honestly what is possible before you commit.
Courier Services and Tracking
International orders are despatched using established express courier services. [CONFIRM PRIMARY COURIER] [CONFIRM ALTERNATIVE COURIERS] Your quotation states the service used for your destination, whether a signature is required and how delivery attempts and local courier handover work. [CONFIRM SIGNATURE REQUIREMENT]
Where the selected service provides tracking, we send the reference at despatch, and proof of delivery can be requested after arrival. [CONFIRM TRACKING PROCESS] If tracking appears to stall, contact us — customs processing commonly pauses tracking, and we can check with the courier. Address changes after despatch are handled by the courier and may carry a correction charge, so check the delivery address carefully before despatch.
How International Delivery Is Priced
Pricing depends on the destination and postcode, order weight and carton dimensions, the product (battery items are classified differently), quantity and carton count, service level, remote-area status, the number of destinations and any insurance required. [CONFIRM DELIVERY INSURANCE]
Your quotation states clearly whether delivery is included or listed as a separate line, and which charges are excluded. [CONFIRM FREE WORLDWIDE DELIVERY TERMS] [CONFIRM WHETHER DELIVERY IS INCLUDED IN QUOTES] [CONFIRM REMOTE AREA CHARGES] Customs duties, import taxes and clearance fees are charged by the destination country and its courier processes — not by USB Makers — and are always identified separately, as explained below. We do not hide delivery costs until after an order is agreed.
Customs Duties, Import Taxes and Clearance Fees
Goods crossing a border may be assessed by the destination country's customs authority. Whether duties or import taxes apply depends on the product classification, declared value, country of origin and the destination's own rules — the same order can arrive free of charges in one country and attract duty, import VAT or a clearance fee in another.
Unless your quotation expressly states otherwise, duties, import taxes and customs clearance fees are payable in the destination country and are not included in our prices. [CONFIRM CUSTOMS DUTY RESPONSIBILITY] [CONFIRM IMPORT TAX RESPONSIBILITY] In most cases the recipient acts as the importer of record, and the courier presents any charges before or on delivery. [CONFIRM IMPORTER OF RECORD] [CONFIRM CUSTOMS BROKER ARRANGEMENTS] Customs authorities may request additional information, and clearance can add time to any estimate.
Your quotation states who is responsible for these charges for your specific destination. [CONFIRM INCOTERM] We can supply the commercial documentation customs normally needs, but we cannot provide destination-specific tax advice — for complex imports, consult your customs broker or tax adviser.
Delivery to the European Union
Orders to EU countries clear customs like other international shipments: a declaration is made, and import VAT — and duty where applicable — is assessed in the destination country. Business recipients can usually recover import VAT through their VAT registration, and importing businesses generally need an EU EORI number. [CONFIRM EU DELIVERY PROCESS] [CONFIRM EU IMPORTER ARRANGEMENTS]
Whether duty applies depends on the goods' origin under the UK-EU trade agreement — origin is where goods are manufactured, not where they ship from — so we confirm the position for your products at quotation rather than promising duty-free delivery. Requirements differ between EU countries, so provide the exact destination.
Delivery to the United States
United States import rules changed significantly in 2025 and 2026. The duty-free allowance for low-value imports (the "de minimis" exemption) has been suspended for commercial shipments from all countries, so every courier shipment to the US now goes through customs entry regardless of value, and duties and fees may be assessed on arrival. Tariff rates change; we do not publish figures here because they can be out of date quickly. [CONFIRM US IMPORT TREATMENT]
Unless otherwise agreed on your quotation, the US recipient is responsible for any duties, taxes and courier clearance fees, and the courier will normally invoice these around delivery. Please build customs clearance into your timeline, provide full recipient details (a tax identification number may be requested), and note that battery products have separate service restrictions. [CONFIRM US OFFICE ROLE] If earlier material elsewhere suggested US deliveries carry no import charges, this page reflects the current position.
Delivery to Other International Destinations
We regularly quote for Canada, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, Africa and Latin America. Import taxes, importer registration, remote-area coverage and battery acceptance differ country by country, and courier coverage changes. Give us the exact country and postcode and we will confirm what applies before you order — we do not make blanket promises about entire regions.
International Delivery of Power Banks and Battery Products
Power banks contain lithium-ion batteries, which are classified as dangerous goods for air transport. They are shipped under strict international rules covering packaging, labelling, documentation and state of charge, through approved dangerous-goods services. [CONFIRM BATTERY SHIPPING PROCESS] [CONFIRM BATTERY DOCUMENTATION] [CONFIRM APPROVED COURIER SERVICES]
In practice this means battery products cannot be sent to every destination or on every service; delivery can take longer than standard goods; express options may be unavailable; and the destination list is checked at quotation. [CONFIRM RESTRICTED DESTINATIONS] It also means battery products must never be returned internationally without our specific instructions — see our Returns, Faults and Claims Policy. Tell us early if your order includes power banks or other battery items, and we will confirm what is possible for your destination before you plan the campaign.
Delivery Restrictions
Delivery to some destinations or of some products may be restricted by sanctions and trade controls, courier coverage, product-safety and battery rules, local import licensing or security considerations. We check current restrictions at quotation rather than publishing a fixed list, because these rules change. USB Makers may decline or suspend an order where supplying or delivering it would breach applicable law or courier requirements, as set out in our Terms and Conditions.
Documents Used for International Delivery
International shipments normally travel with a commercial invoice and packing list showing the product description, commodity code, declared value and country of origin, plus battery documentation where applicable. [CONFIRM DOCUMENTATION PROCESS] [CONFIRM COMMODITY CODE PROCESS] [CONFIRM COUNTRY OF ORIGIN WORDING] Where product compliance documents are available for your items, we can supply them for your records.
Depending on the destination, you or your recipient may need to provide the importer's legal name, a tax or import number, an EORI number, company registration details, a customs broker contact or an import licence. We will tell you at quotation which of these your destination requires.
Information We Need From You
- Legal company name, contact name, telephone and email.
- Full delivery address, country and postcode, including building or floor details.
- Tax, import or EORI number where the destination requires one, and importer details if the recipient is not your own company.
- Delivery deadline and, for events, the event date itself.
- Receiving hours and any local delivery instructions.
- Number of delivery locations, and a customs broker contact where applicable.
Complete, accurate details keep your order moving. Incomplete or incorrect information is the most common cause of customs holds, address-correction fees, failed deliveries, returns to sender and unexpected charges — a minute checking the address saves days at the border.
Multiple Delivery Addresses and Split Shipments
Orders can be quoted for delivery to more than one location — regional offices, international branches, event venues, campuses, distributors or phased campaign launches. [CONFIRM MULTI-ADDRESS DELIVERY] [CONFIRM SPLIT SHIPMENT POLICY] Multi-address delivery involves additional administration: each international destination is a separate shipment with its own customs entry, courier charge and documentation, so we quote per destination and may apply a minimum quantity per address. [CONFIRM SPLIT DELIVERY CHARGES] Provide your address list on our template — with quantities per location — and we will schedule and label each consignment. [CONFIRM ADDRESS TEMPLATE]
Packaging for International Delivery
International orders are packed for the journey: strong export cartons, inner protection appropriate to the product, and clear labelling — including the specific labelling battery products require. Presentation packaging is protected inside the transit cartons so it arrives display-ready. Packing balances protection against weight, volume and cost, because dimensional weight drives pricing; we recommend the approach per order, and pallets where volume justifies them.
What Happens if Customs Delays the Shipment?
Customs authorities can inspect or hold any shipment, and the courier may request importer information during clearance. If that happens, respond to the courier promptly and contact us — we can supply the shipment's commercial documents and chase status. We cannot control customs decisions or clearance times, and storage or delay fees can accrue in the destination country; build clearance contingency into event deadlines. Where a delay is caused by an error in documentation we prepared, we will correct it promptly and work with the courier to resolve it.
Failed Delivery and Return to Sender
If the recipient is unavailable, the address is incorrect, duties are unpaid or importer information is missing, the courier normally re-attempts delivery, holds the goods for a period, then returns the shipment. Return-to-sender internationally can incur return carriage, storage and re-delivery charges. [CONFIRM FAILED DELIVERY CHARGE POLICY] [CONFIRM RETURN TO SENDER PROCESS] If a delivery attempt fails, contact us quickly — options are widest while the goods are still in the destination country.
Reporting a Delivery Problem
If a carton arrives damaged, a carton is missing, the quantity is short, goods are wet or crushed, customs has opened the shipment, or tracking says delivered but nothing has arrived: photograph the cartons, packaging and affected goods, keep all packaging and courier labels, and contact us promptly with the order number, tracking number, delivery date, carton count, affected quantity and a description. [CONFIRM INTERNATIONAL CLAIM DEADLINES] Prompt reports protect courier claims. The full process is in our Returns, Faults and Claims Policy.
International Returns and Collections
Contact us before returning anything internationally — never arrange a cross-border return without instructions. Returns can require customs documents and attract return duties, battery products need special handling, and in many cases evidence-first investigation, local disposal or a replacement delivery is faster and cheaper than a physical return. Costs depend on the reason for the return. [CONFIRM INTERNATIONAL RETURN PROCESS] [CONFIRM INTERNATIONAL RETURN COSTS] See the Returns, Faults and Claims Policy.
What Your International Quote Should Confirm
- Product, quantity, capacity, branding, packaging and any data preload.
- Production time and the estimated courier transit time, stated separately.
- The delivery service and destination, and the courier charge or its inclusion.
- Who is responsible for duties, import taxes and clearance fees, and who acts as importer of record.
- Quote validity, currency and VAT treatment.
- The delivery term applied, where one is used. [CONFIRM INCOTERM]
Any quotation — ours or a competitor's — that leaves these blank is not comparable. We set them out so your procurement paperwork is complete first time.
Support for International Procurement Teams
We provide formal quotations with full specifications, commercial invoices and packing lists, available compliance documentation, purchase-order references, VAT and company information, delivery schedules and tracking, and coordination across locations and repeat orders. [CONFIRM PROCUREMENT DOCUMENTS] Artwork and approved proofs stay on file, so repeat orders need only a quantity, destination and date.
Why International Organisations Choose USB Makers
- UK-based account support. One English-speaking team handles the product, branding and delivery conversation end to end.

- Free visual proof before production. Branding is approved before anything ships anywhere.
- Multi-location coordination. Campaigns across several countries handled as one order with per-destination shipments. [CONFIRM MULTI-ADDRESS DELIVERY]
Frequently Asked Questions
Most countries and territories, subject to current courier coverage, customs rules, sanctions and product restrictions. [CONFIRM COUNTRIES AND TERRITORIES SERVED] Tell us your exact destination and we will confirm availability at quotation.
Your quotation states whether delivery is included for your destination or shown as a separate line, with any exceptions such as remote-area charges. [CONFIRM FREE WORLDWIDE DELIVERY TERMS] Customs duties, import taxes and clearance fees are always separate.
No, unless your quotation expressly says so. Duties and taxes are set by the destination country and are normally payable there by the recipient, with the courier collecting them around delivery. [CONFIRM CUSTOMS DUTY RESPONSIBILITY]
Production comes first, then courier transit, then customs clearance where applicable. Transit estimates depend on the destination and service and are confirmed on your quotation — estimates, not guarantees. [CONFIRM TYPICAL COURIER TRANSIT TIMES]
Yes, where the selected courier service provides it — which covers most express international services. We send the tracking reference at despatch. [CONFIRM TRACKING PROCESS]
To selected destinations only. Power banks contain lithium batteries and ship under dangerous-goods rules through approved services, so the destination list is smaller than for USB drives and transit can take longer. We confirm your country at quotation. [CONFIRM RESTRICTED DESTINATIONS]
Yes, subject to confirmation. Each country is a separate shipment with its own customs entry and courier charge, so multi-destination orders are quoted per location using your address list. [CONFIRM MULTI-ADDRESS DELIVERY]
We prepare the commercial invoice and packing list; you or your recipient may need to provide the importer's legal name, a tax or import number, an EORI number for EU imports, and occasionally a customs broker or import licence.
Respond promptly to any courier request and contact us — we supply available documents and chase status. Customs decisions and timing are outside our control, so build contingency into event deadlines.
Photograph the cartons and goods before disposing of anything, keep the packaging and labels, and contact us promptly with the order and tracking numbers and the affected quantity. Our Returns, Faults and Claims Policy explains the full process.
