The product

Turn Your Idea into a Custom USB Stick

What a custom PVC drive is - and what you need to get started.

A custom PVC USB stick is built around your design rather than printed onto a stock casing. The moulded PVC shell is created to match an approved shape - a logo, a product, a piece of packaging, a mascot or character, a vehicle, a building, a tool or a campaign concept - so the drive itself becomes the branding, with moulded colour and printed detail where the design needs it.

You do not need finished artwork to start. A vector logo is ideal, but a sketch, a photograph, a reference image or a clear written description is enough for our team to review the idea and recommend a practical route. Many practical shapes can be explored, subject to design and production feasibility - the design work balances visual likeness with connector space, durability, comfortable handling and how the shape can actually be moulded.

Throughout, the product stays a working USB drive, not just a novelty shape: you choose the capacity and USB version in the selector above, files can be pre-loaded before despatch, and every project is quoted individually because the design, quantity, tooling, sampling, packaging and delivery all shape the specification.

Choose a 2D or 3D PVC USB Design

Two moulding approaches, each quoted individually against your design.

2D and 3D custom USB design routes compared

3D moulded designSculpted formDetail considered around more of the shapeProducts, characters, vehicles and dimensional objects

A 3D form is reviewed from several angles for geometry and feasibility. Not sure which fits? Send the idea and the team will recommend the most practical approach as part of the feasibility review.

Options

Customise the Shape and Practical Details

The details we agree together before any tooling is cut.

  • Shape and profile. The outline and form of the casing, developed from your reference material. Very fine projections or tiny details may need adjustment so the finished drive stays durable and comfortable to handle.
  • 2D or 3D treatment. Flatter layered detail or a sculpted form - chosen for the design, not by default, at the feasibility review.
  • PVC colours and finish. Moulded PVC colours with printed details where the design needs them. Screen colours and manufactured PVC colours can differ, so Pantone references are matched as closely as the moulding and print processes allow and confirmed on your design visual.
  • Cap, connector and attachment. The connector needs a practical position and the cap a secure home; attachment points such as a keyring loop are agreed at the design stage, subject to feasibility.
  • Memory capacity and USB version. Choose from the capacities and USB versions in the selector above; the right capacity depends on what, if anything, you plan to pre-load.
  • Data pre-loading and packaging. Final approved files loaded before despatch with up to 500MB included as standard, and packaging matched to your shape at quotation.
One review note. Designs resembling food, medicines, safety equipment, access cards or anything aimed at children - and shapes with small or detachable parts - take an additional feasibility and safety review. And you must hold the rights to reproduce any brand, character, artwork or product likeness you submit.

How to Order Custom PVC USB Sticks

From idea to delivery - a simple, transparent process with expert support at every step.

  1. 1
Send your idea. Share a logo, sketch, photograph or reference image - or just a short description - with the intended use and audience, an estimated quantity, a capacity preference (or “not sure”), 2D, 3D or “not sure”, your required in-hands date, the delivery country, and any packaging or pre-load interest. Finished artwork helps but is not required to start.
  2. 2
Feasibility review and tailored quote. The team reviews the shape, detail, size, connector and cap position, the 2D or 3D route, colours, capacity, quantity, tooling, the sample route, pre-loading, packaging, delivery and your deadline - then sends a written quotation that separates tooling or mould costs where they apply, the sample stage, the units and memory configuration, pre-loading, packaging, delivery and VAT.
  3. 3
Review your scaled design visual. You receive a free scaled design visual of the proposed drive showing - where available for your design - the front, back and a side or three-quarter view, key dimensions, colours, surface details, the cap or connector position and any attachment point. This is a digital design aid for approval, not a physical sample, and manufactured PVC colours can differ slightly from screen colours.
  4. 4
Approve the specification and sample. You approve the design, dimensions, colours, material and finish, capacity, connector, quantity, packaging, pre-load plan, delivery details and commercial terms in writing. A physical sample of your design is produced for approval before full production - whether a functional pre-production unit or a finish sample suits your project, and how the sample stage affects timing, is confirmed with your quotation. Production does not begin until the required approvals are complete.
  5. 5
Production, data loading and quality checks. Your mould is created, the PVC casings are manufactured and assembled with the USB components, approved files are pre-loaded where ordered, packaging is added, and finished drives are inspected against the approved visual or sample. The testing scope for your order is confirmed at quotation.
  6. 6
Despatch, delivery and reordering. Final despatch checks, then delivery to the agreed destination by the confirmed method, with tracking where available. We retain your approved design records so reordering is straightforward - mould retention and reorder terms are confirmed with your quotation, and a repeat order re-confirms current capacity, pricing and timing. Your in-hands date is the date the drives must arrive; production runs from the confirmed approval milestone, and revisions or late artwork can reset the schedule.

Your brief

What We Need to Quote Your Design

Send as much as you have - “not sure” is a perfectly good starting point.

  • A logo, sketch, photograph, reference image or written concept
  • Intended use and audience
  • Estimated quantity
  • Capacity - or “not sure”
  • Connector preference - or “not sure”
  • 2D, 3D - or “not sure”
  • Brand colours or Pantone references
  • Required in-hands date
  • Delivery country
  • Data pre-loading needs
  • Packaging or attachment needs
  • Any retail or resale requirement
You can still enquire if you do not know every answer, and you do not need to upload artwork just to start a conversation.

Pricing & timing

What Affects the Quote and Schedule?

Why every bespoke project is quoted individually.

Because every custom drive is made to order, the price and schedule follow the specification: quantity, memory capacity and USB version, the shape and its level of detail, 2D or 3D construction, dimensions, the number of moulded colours and printed details, tooling, design revisions, the physical sample stage, data loading, packaging, the destination and your required date all play a part.

Timing works the same way - design time, your approval time, the sample stage, production and transit are separate stages, and the schedule is only as fast as its slowest approval. The written quotation puts real numbers against your actual design; nothing on this page can honestly do that in advance.

Finishing

Data Pre-Loading and Packaging

Two finishing options, matched to your drive and quoted alongside it.

Data pre-loading. Have your brochure, showreel, catalogue or campaign files loaded before despatch - up to 500MB is included as standard, with larger loads quoted. Send final, approved, non-sensitive files through the process we confirm with your order (never through the public quote form), and note that drives ship without autorun and an ordinary promotional USB is not a secure or encrypted device. If recipients work on managed corporate devices, it is worth checking their removable-media policy first. Your artwork proof and your data proof are separate approvals.

Packaging. Packaging is matched to your shape at quotation - standard tins, boxes and wallets suit many designs, and where a custom shape needs a fitted insert or bespoke packaging, that is quoted alongside the drive so the pack arrives right the first time.

Help & Support

Frequently Asked Questions

A working USB drive whose casing is moulded to your approved design - a logo, product, mascot or concept - using moulded PVC colour and printed detail where the design needs it, rather than a stock casing with a printed logo.

Many practical shapes can be explored, subject to design and production feasibility. Very fine projections, tiny details and impractically thin sections may need adjustment, and the connector and cap always need a workable position - the feasibility review tells you exactly what your design can do.

A 2D design is a flatter, shaped outline with raised, recessed or layered detail - strong for logos and badges. A 3D design is a sculpted form considered from several angles - strong for products, characters and vehicles. Send the idea and the team will recommend the practical route.

Yes. A vector logo is ideal, but a sketch, photograph, reference image or clear written description is enough to start the feasibility review - the scaled design visual turns it into something you can approve.

The minimum order quantity for a fully custom PVC design is 100 units per design, so your branding stays consistent across the whole order. The confirmed minimum for your specific design is stated in your written quotation, because bespoke tooling can affect the practical minimum.

Yes - you approve a free scaled design visual showing the shape, colours, dimensions and connector position, and a physical sample of your design is produced for approval before full production. Nothing is manufactured at volume until you have signed the specification off.

Yes - final approved files are loaded before despatch, with up to 500MB included as standard and larger loads quoted. Data pre-loading has its own approval, separate from the artwork proof.

Yes - we retain your approved design records to make reordering straightforward. Mould retention and reorder terms are confirmed with your quotation, and a repeat order re-confirms current capacity, pricing and timing.
